The Alumni Association promotes the mission, goals, and best interests of Cornell College in order to foster a vigorous and positive relationship between the College and its alumni.

In collaboration with the Alumni Engagement Office, the Alumni Association facilitates life-long connections to strengthen the future of Cornell College. Cornellians are encouraged to:

  • attend events on and off campus throughout the year;
  • volunteer to support the college through admission, career development, regional club, class reunion, class agent, or other leadership activities;
  • enhance the Cornell experience by making a donation every year to help change lives of students

Alumni Association Board of Directors

The Alumni Association is led by a Board of Directors. The Alumni Association Board  is comprised of 24 directors, a president, a past president, and a president-elect. The Board of Directors meets twice a year on campus in the spring and in the fall during Homecoming weekend.

Allan Ruter '76 has written a brief history of the Alumni Association that chronicles the founding and evolution of the association. The Alumni Association Board of Directors are the stewards of the Constitution and the By-Laws of the Alumni Association.

Alumni Awards

Cornell College honors alumni and friends who have made significant contributions to the life of the college and to society. Awards are presented annually at Homecoming Convocation as well as other select events throughout the year.
