Cornell College is proud to honor alumni and
friends who have made significant contributions to the life of the
college and to society.
Awards may be presented annually at the
Homecoming Convocation ceremony or at other select events throughout the year.

The highest joint honor awarded by the college and the Alumni Association, the basis of the Distinguished Achievement Award is outstanding generosity and/or service to the college; outstanding participation in community and civic affairs; and unusual achievement in one's field of endeavor.
The Leadership and Service Award is presented to alumni who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their careers or professions, whose work has contributed to the betterment of their community and its citizens, and whose commitment to the college has remained strong for many years.
This award is designed to recognize established and future leaders among those who have been an alumnus for 15 years or less. Recipients demonstrate leadership in their professions, a commitment to service, and substantial commitment to Cornell College and its mission.
Honorary alumni status is a tribute and service award given most often to friends of the college for long years of loyalty and service. It is also given uniformly to faculty upon retirement and to select longtime staff upon retirement.
Presented by the Presidents Office upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Honorary Degree is reserved for a select group of nominees who have distinguished themselves in their field.
The Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding Cornell athletes. Nominees must have been out of college for at least 10 years. If you want to nominate someone for this award, please provide us with as complete a record as you can and include any specific details you would like noted.
